Independent Diesel Shops helps pickup owners find independent repair businesses nationwide. Our initial collection contains 313 shops across 50 states. It is a starting collection, not every shop in the country.
Who belongs here?
Repair businesses that explicitly service diesel pickups. Shops may also repair other vehicles. Manufacturer dealerships, used-vehicle dealerships with service departments, and semi-only repair operations are excluded. Being an authorized parts or equipment service provider does not by itself make a business a vehicle dealership.
How we check listings
We review the business’s own public pages for pickup repair, named engines, location, contact details, and indications of vehicle sales. Unknown details remain unconfirmed. Website screening cannot guarantee corporate ownership or service quality. Send us evidence of an outdated or ineligible listing through the correction form.
Rates and fees
We show hourly rates only with a published source and review date. Shop labor and mobile labor are different services, and rates should not be compared without considering minimums, call-out fees, diagnostics, parts, and taxes. Contact the shop for a written estimate.
Ordering and personal recommendations
Search results are normally alphabetical after filters. For Comal County, Texas searches, Bam’s Diesel Service in Blanco appears first as the publisher’s personal recommendation based on being a customer. That placement is labeled and does not imply a Comal County address or a verified engine specialty. Other filters such as mobile service and published pricing still apply.
Submissions
Anyone can suggest an eligible shop or a correction. Nothing is automatically published. We review sources, screen dealerships, and check duplicates before updating the directory. Shop owners may submit sourced pricing corrections.
Commercial relationships
No paid placements or affiliate links are active at launch. Future sponsorships will be labeled. Inclusion is not a warranty or endorsement, except where a personal recommendation is explicitly attributed.
